Marshall B. Hunt

Founder and Managing Director


Marshall oversees the fund operations, the investment committee, and the management teams. He is also the CEO for each of the holding companies. His unique management style built on operational efficiencies and a systematic approach to building a clean and fast foundation has enabled the portfolio of All-American Holdings to grow and prosper.

Over the past 30 years he has made acquisitions and integrated manufacturing operations into the medical and commercial fields. His extensive experience in capital structure and restructure helped those companies go public, merge, and spin off new divisions. Marshall has served as the Chairman and CEO of both public and private companies.

Prior to All-American Holdings he founded or co-founded the following companies:
 
  • Marshall co-founded and brought Cardiac Medical Inc. to the forefront of the industry during the mid 80’s and 90’s. Cardiac Medical Inc. was then sold to Guidant Corp. in the early 80's.

  • Taking Horizon Medical Products (HMP) public through First Boston, Marshall then merged them with Rita Medical, another public company, to sell to Angio Dynamics in March of 2004.

  • He was founder and CEO of Hunt Medical System.

  • Prior to this he learned customer service and how to apply by working up through the sales ranks at American Hospital Supply Corporation.

He has successfully divested himself of his holdings in all of the aforementioned companies.

Marshall currently serves on several company boards and has been very active in The Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Serving as Chapter Chair and on the International Board.

Marshall has been married to Martha for over 37 years, has raised four boys and a girl, and is active in helping children by supporting Camp Twin Lakes and Camp Sunshine in the Atlanta area as well as the Boy Scouts of America. Earning his Eagle Scout badge before he could drive, Marshall’s sons have gone on to become Eagle Scouts as well.

Marshall holds a BS from Florida State University and an Executive MBA from the Harvard Business School OPM Class 21.

Calvin brings a strong diverse operational background to All-American Holdings. From our office in Austin, TX, he manages the day to day deal sourcing efforts and the execution of our portfolio companies' growth plans. 

After completing the acquisition of Architectural Arts, Calvin became the President of the combined entity - All-American Architectural Arts, LLC. He focuses his efforts on providing vision and direction while pulling together the three facilities and over 300 employees that make up the new millwork company.


Before joining us, Calvin founded Frontline Fluid Solutions, a manufacturers rep agency focused on serving the upstream on shore Oil & Gas industry. Under his leadership, Frontline led the development efforts of a lay flat hose water transfer system used to deliver high volumes of water to and from fracking sites.  In less than 2 years his team at Frontline sold over 400 miles of transfer systems across every shale play in North America. This generated $40+ million in revenue and $15+ million in pre-tax profit. Forbes magazine profiled Frontlines story in their October 2013 issue.

  • Prior to his Oil & Gas endeavors, he spent 4 years in the marine industry, managing large scale refit projects for Hattaras Yachts in Orange Beach, Alabama.

  • Calvin holds a BS degree from Florida State University and an MBA from the Acton School of Business in Austin, TX.
Calvin is an avid outdoorsman, a licensed 100 ton Master Captain, and an Eagle Scout. 





Bill Peterson

Managing Director





William E. (Bill) Peterson, Jr. is a Managing Director of All-American Holdings, LLC. In this role, he works with the All-American management team on strategic planning with special focus on acquisitions, financial matters and operational issues.

Prior to joining the All-American team, Peterson served as President of Horizon Medical Products, Inc., (“HMP”) and helped build one of the country’s leading vascular access companies. Peterson, along with All-American CEO Marshall Hunt, founded the company in 1990 and grew it to sales of over $75 million and 150 employees. In 1998, HMP completed an initial public offering (IPO) which was underwritten by Credit Suisse First Boston and raised $57.9 million. The company stock was listed and traded on NASDAQ. In 2000, Deloitte & Touché recognized Horizon Medical Products as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States. In addition to the IPO, Peterson and Hunt orchestrated six separate acquisitions ranging in size from $7.5 million to $21.25 million.

Currently, Peterson also serves as the Chairman of the Board for Peterson Foods, LLC, a fast casual restaurant concept which operates under the name of Otter’s Chicken. Otter’s is headquartered in Marietta, Georgia and was recognized in 2017 as one of the top five small businesses of the year by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, Otter’s has also been named to the Florida State University Seminole 100 which honors the 100 fastest-growing Seminole-owned businesses in the United States.

In addition to his business background, Peterson also served as the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia from 2007 through 2014. During his time at the university, Peterson led Shorter to record finishes in the NACDA-Learfield Director’s Cup , including a program-best second place finish following the 2011-2012 academic year that helped Shorter lay claim to what many believe is the best athletic year in the history of all Georgia colleges and universities. Peterson was named the Southern States Athletic Conference Athletic Director of the Year in 2010 and helped propel the athletic department to 17 national championships in seven different sports.

Peterson is a 1978 graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor sciences degree in accounting. From 1978 through 1989, Peterson worked in corporate finance and as a CPA for the international accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterHouseCoopers, LLP). Peterson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and both the Alabama and Louisiana state societies of CPA’s.





Sheryl Lyles

Chief Financial Officer





Sheryl is in charge of the due diligence of potential acquisition candidates, as well as the financial analysis and projection of owned entities. Sheryl has been on the All-American team since the beginning bringing her own special values and wisdom.

Sheryl’s’ professional experience in the financial services industry has spanned almost 30 years. Prior to ensuring the potential of All-American Holdings Sheryl worked for the following companies:
 
  • Sheryl was a Senior Managing Director of Tunstall Consulting Inc. where she spent 16 years specializing in securing institutional capital for high growth clientele. Sheryl was instrumental in evaluating her client's strategic initiatives for emerging operating plans including product line expansions or divestitures, and entity acquisitions or mergers.

  • Sheryl began her career at Arthur Andersen &Co., working in both audit and tax disciplines.

Sheryl is active in her community where she is involved with Glory, Hope, and Life Charity focused on helping those with Cancer in and around the Gainesville, GA area.

Sheryl is a Certified Public Accountant; and is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Sheryl has been married to her husband Craig for over 20 years and they have 3 children.
 
 



 

Thomas Joseph “TJ” Guzik Jr.

Chief Financial Officer



TJ focuses on the day to day running of the companies. Working with the financial teams located within each operating company, TJ brings the wisdom necessary to return them to profitability. His focus on Cash Flow and EBITDA quickly brings health to the once ailing organizations.

Prior to joining the team at All-American Holdings in 2010 TJ worked at:
 
  • Kenny Pipe & Supply located in Nashville, TN, where he was Controller and Treasurer.

TJ lives with his wife in Jacksonville, FL.

TJ graduated from the University of Alabama with a BBA in Marketing and went on to complete his BBA in Accounting from Tennessee State as well as receiving his CPA.
