Rob Shuler- Co-founder and Managing Partner
Rob is in charge of new deal generation, negotiations and fund operations.. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of TAM Ceramics LLC, an All-American portfolio company. Rob's career spans the last two decades working for Wall Street firms and investment companies (having completed over 55 investments in companies throughout the United States). During this period Rob has established an extensive network of financial industry leaders and business operators.
Prior to All-American, Rob was a partner at KPAC LLC, a buyer of deeply distressed manufacturers. Prior to KPAC, Rob founded Market Street Advisors, a boutique investment bank, which completed several acquisitions and restructurings for the likes of Singer Sewing Machine Co., Cumberland Swan, and Verus Financial Management. Prior to MSA, Rob was co-founder and CEO of investment firm Petra Capital, where he invested in over 30 companies. Prior to Petra, Rob was an early member of the management team at investment firm Sirrom Capital where he completed over 25 investments in growth companies.
Rob began his career at The Robinson-Humphrey Company and later at Equitable Securities Corp. Rob has served on the board of directors of General Roofing Inc, Nucleus Inc, Goldleaf Technologies, and Consumer Credit Associates. Rob is active in the Nashville community volunteering with various youth organizations and is a proud father of two sons. Rob holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BA from Auburn University where he blocked for Bo Jackson.
Marshall Hunt- Co-founder and Managing Partner
Marshall is charge of the fund operations, the investment committee, and overseeing the management teams of the portfolio companies. He has over 30 years of experience in buying and operating business. He was founder and CEO of Hunt Medical System, Cardiac Medical Inc, and Horizon Medical Products(HMP), a business he formed and ultimately took public in the late 90's with then First Boston. He has successfully divested himself of his holdings in all of the aforementioned companies. HMP was merged with Rita Medical, another public company, and then sold to Angio Dynamics in March of 2007. Cardiac Medical was sold to Guidant Corp. in the late 90's.
Marshall has served as a Chairman and CEO of a public company for over 7 years. Over the past 30 years he has made many acquisitions and integrated numerous manufacturing operations. He has extensive experience in capital structure and restructure.He currently serves on several company boards and has been very active in YPO(Young Presidents Organization). He has been married to his wife Martha for 28 years. They have 5 children, four boys and a girl. Marshall has a BS from Florida State University and has graduated from the Harvard Business School OPM class 21.
Sheryl Lyles- Chief Financial Officer-
Sheryl is in charge of financial due diligence of potential acquisition candidates, as well as the financial analysis and projection of owned entities. She brings more than 25 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Prior to ALL-AMERICAN, Sheryl tenured 16 years and was the Senior Managing Director of Tunstall Consulting, Inc., a service firm specializing in securing institutional capital for its high growth clientele. Capital placement for Sheryl's clients ranged from $3.0 million to in excess of $60 million, with an average annual placement for all clients in excess of $150 million. Sheryl was also instrumental in evaluating her client's strategic initiatives for emerging operating plans including product line expansions or divestitures, and entity acquisitions or mergers. Sheryl began her career at Arthur Andersen &Co., working in both audit and tax disciplines. She achieved her license as a Certified Public Accountant; and is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Sheryl has been married to her husband Craig for 20 years; and they have 3 children.
Rich Roberts- Management Committee/Equity Partner
Rich is a well accomplished executive having started and built two large companies which served as platforms to acquire over 57 companies on aggregate. His most recent company was Verus Financial Management, Inc. Rich served as Chief Executive Officer of Verus, a private consolidator of payment processing services companies which he founded in 2002. After seven acquisitions and business consolidation, Verus was sold to Sage Software in early 2006. In 1984, he co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of PMT Services, Inc., a credit card processing company. PMT completed a public offering (PMTS - NASDAQ) in the fall of 1994 and through its internal growth strategy and over 50 acquisitions, grew to be the 6th largest bankcard processor in the U.S. servicing over 200,000 merchants. In 1998, PMT merged with Nova Corporation in a transaction valued at $1.4 billion. He lives in Nashville and is the proud father of two children. Rich serves on the board of the Tennessee State Museum and is a graduate from the University of Alabama (1980).
Ched Cooke- Management Committee/Equity Partner
Ched is a well accomplished commerical real estate acquiror based out of Nashville. He and his family's portfolio own multiple properties throughout the Southeast and Southwest. His business is focused on buying under-performing strip centers and rejuvenating them. Ched and his wife reside in Nashville and are the proud parents of three children. Ched serves on the board of Ingram Industries and is a graduate from the University of Mississippi. Ched currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ingram Industries.
